It is custom cut into a designer curved bar shaped cabochon that is 47 to 64 mm long by 28 mm wide and 5 mm thick.
Tiger-eye (or Tiger's Eye) is a semi precious gemstone quartz.
This rare variety is from approximately 50 kilometres north-west of Tom Price, near Mt Brockman, adjacent to Caves Creek Valley on Hammersley Station in Australia
Tiger-eye designer cabochons are vitreous (hard, unbendable and glasslike). With its strong chatoyance, the semi precious gemstone gets its name from its resemblance to the eye of a tiger.
These gorgeous golden cabochons seem to glow with an inner light.
