Oh my gosh-I LOVE these!
Quartz grows in many environments along with many different minerals. These minerals, as well as watery solutions and gas bubbles, can be enclosed by the growing crystal.
Quartz is one of the most abundant minerals on earth. It is found on every continent, and just about every country.
Optically clear Quartz is not always totally clear, in fact most of the time it does have internal fractures or flaws, but it is not white, milky or cloudy.
Some of these inclusions are minerals including Cholrite, Iron Oxide, Rutile, Geothite, and Hematite.
These gorgeous Included Quartz cabochons are known in the trade by many names: Lodalite or Lodolite, Garden Quartz, Scenic Quartz, and Landscape Quartz, Hotspot Quartz to name just a few.
Quartz has long been the subject of spiritual beliefs and folklore. Crystal balls brought back by the Crusaders where believed to possess magical powers. In fact, the name crystal comes from the Greek word for "ice", as it was believed that rock crystal was eternally frozen.
Included Quartz cabochons have a hardness of 7 and wear very well.
Clear Quartz enhances clarity and is said to help one overcome confusion. Included Quartz cabochons will carry the healing powers of both Quartz and the mineral included.
