A triangle shaped Cobalto Calcite or Pink Drusy (aka Pink Druse or Druzy) designer cabochon 30 mm long by 22 mm wide and quite thick at 10 mm at its thickest.
This one has tiny spots of dark green Malachite crystals!
Though this material is often called Pink Druse (or Pink Drusy), it is actually Cobalto Calcite (AKA Cobalticalcite, Cobaltian Calcite, and believed to be more correctly-Cobaltoan Dolomite) from the Kakanda Mine, in the Katanga Copper Crescent, Shaba Province, Zaire, Africa.
This is a variety of Calcite containing Cobalt. The result of the cobalt is that the calcite is colored a pale pink to a raspberry pink.
Metaphysical Properties: Pink Cobalto Calcite is said to symbolize love and caring and is good for broken hearts and self discovery.
