It has a matte or bisque finish.
The semiprecious stone bead pendant is 30 mm long by 23 mm and 9 mm thick. It is drilled with a 4.5 mm hole.
Opal is a hydrated amorphous form of silica, with a high water content. It occurs in the fissures of almost any kind of rock.
Opal’s flashing rainbow play-of-color is caused by diffraction of light by silica spheres stacked internally in the stone.
