The not quite perfect round shape is about 30 mm in "diameter" and 5 mm thick.
A layer of very fine crystals formed on a semi precious gemstone chalcedony, is known as "Druse" "Drusy" or "Druzy".
Drusy Agate is a type of chalcedony, usually at least slightly translucent and banded or with inclusions. This lovely Druse Agate material is found in southern Brazil.
