Semi precious stone Labradorite cabochons have a background color of dark gray, but they display a beautiful iridescence of rainbow-colored reflections, known as labradorescence, when light hits it in certain directions.
Labradorite is named after where it was first found; Labrador, Canada, although our gemstone cabochon material comes from Madagascar.
