An extra large oval shaped semi precious gemstone Petrified Wood from Arizona designer cabochon 93 mm (3.7 inches!) by 41 mm and 5 mm thick.

Beautiful red and gray semi precious gemstone known as Rainbow Petrified Wood.

This is actually a psuedomorph-chalcedony gemstone replacing the wood. Therefore Petrified Wood is actually a member of the chalcedony family with a hardness of 6.5 to 7.

Metaphysical Properties:  Petrified Wood is called the stone of patience.
