The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show is the largest gemstone, fossil, rock and mineral show in the world (2015!)

Dealers come from all over the world to sell ANYTHING gemstone, rock, mineral specimen or lapidary related!  You can find rough rock, stone slabs, jewelry, diamonds, fossils, stone carvings, mineral specimens, beads, cabochons, etc. etc. etc. 

There are actually more than 40 shows going on all over the city of Tucson, Arizona.  Officially some begin as early as January 25th, but I'm pretty sure there are some dealers that set up much earlier.  The show runs for about 3 weeks, culminating in what is known as The Main Show at the Tucson Convention Center the final second weekend February.   Though most of the shows are geared towards other rock dealers and are wholesale to the trade, the main show is more for the retail public and they always have an impressive display of exhibits from collectors and museums all over the world.

BarlowsGems now has their own warehouse, called The Rock Yard, located at 615 W. Lester.

This is a very exciting and growing area with over 100 independent dealers within walking distance!

We have all the usual merchandise we are well known for, including our designer cabochons, stone animal carvings, and Rocks in Boxes here.  But we also have tons and tons of rough rock available at this location!
