Product Description

Hemimorphite is a sorosilicate mineral usually found in lead or zinc deposits and is often associated with Smithsonite. In fact originally both minerals were thought to be the same and called Calamine. When it was discovered that they were in fact two different minerals, and the silicate was the rarer of the two, it was named Hemimorphite, because of the hemimorph development of its crystals.
This was a beautiful naturally botryoidal crystal found in Wenshan, Yunnan Province, China.
Botryoidal means having bubbles on or a "grape cluster" surface.
Metaphysical Properties of Hemimorphite: It is said that Hemimorphite is calming. It is a powerful stone for forgiveness, and may help you release resentment and anger.
