- Bumblebee Jasper
Bumblebee Japer, also sometimes called Bumble Bee Jasper or Bumblebee Agate, is found on the island of Bali, near the town of Garut, Indonesia. It is collected by locals near hot vents of an active volcano called Mount Papandayan. The peak is around 8,700 feet high, which is one of the tallest volcanoes in Indonesia.
Bumblebee Jasper cabochons are not really a chalcedony, jasper or agate, but are actually a mixture of volcano lava and sediment. The colorful Bumblebee or Bumble Bee Jasper cabochons contain gypsum, sulfur, hematite and a small amount of orpiment. The semi precious gemstone material is soft, with a Mohs hardness of 5 or below, but these designer cabochons have a nice polish.
Metaphysical Properties: Bumblebee Jasper cabochons are said to help your concentration and inspiration by helping you focus better.
