Cacoxenite (Geothite)
This material is very well known as Cacoxenite. Cacoxenite is a mineral that is an inclusion in quartz. It appears as gold or brown acicular needles. Cacoxenite is a rather rare occurrence, and can create a visually spectacular stone.
Most experts now claim that this is not Cacoxenite inclusions, but rather it is Geothite. It is said that Cacoxenite can never form in Amethyst as there is no phosphorus in the environments in which they crystallized.
