Oval shaped Bull Canyon Agate designer cabochon 55 mm long by 34 mm wide and 4 mm thick. This agate comes from the Northern California/Nevada border area. It is a nicely translucent moss agate. The moss is usually a great red color, but can be green or brown. This material is also known as a "tube agate". Tube agate forms when flow channels are captured in the structure of the growing silica. The "moss" then appears as long tubes in the stone.
